Liên Đoàn Chí Linh was founded in 2001 — and every Sunday since, families have kept coming back.
Liên Đoàn Chí Linh was founded by Lý Nhật Hui and a small handful of other leaders and parents in 2001 who wanted to ensure that the Scouting program was truly youth-led. The mission was to ensure that each youth be afforded the opportunities available with the resources Scouting provided so that each Scout could learn the skills needed to build a successful future.
Tr. Hui was the first Liên Đoàn Trưởng of Liên Đoàn Chí Linh and when he stepped aside after five years, he handed the torch to the next generation with the vision that the leadership of Liên Đoàn Chí Linh would rest primarily with young leaders. Today, at our 25 year mark, we can safely say that he has brought his vision to life.
To preserve and grow Vietnamese cultural tradition, while helping our children integrate into American culture, through the Scouting program.
Every week we meet, sing, and recite the Scout Promise in Vietnamese.
The Scout Promise — be prepared, a good turn daily, leave no trace.
Families help families. Older scouts help the young. Liên Đoàn helps Liên Đoàn.
Camp, hike, take care of yourself, leave the campsite cleaner than you found it.
